Your final base salary will be determined based on your education, experience, licensure, and internal equity considerations. Offers are typically made below the top of the range to support future salary growth.
JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Manager and/or Director of Patient Access, the Registration Supervisor plans, supervises and coordinates the daily registration operations for all locations. The supervisor ensures the department meets their standards for performance and service to patients and resolves all operational issues related to scheduling. Promotes a positive environment in which new ideas are encouraged.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Oversees the training and manages expectations for all Registration employees.
· Responsible for supervising the performance and ensuring expectations are being met for the Registration team, also responsible for problem solving to improve performance when targets are not being met.
· Ensures there is adequate staffing and coverage for all areas and shifts, covers weekend and on-call shifts as needed.
· Maintains current knowledge of all Patient Access functions, including Registration, Financial Clearance, and Scheduling.
· Investigate and resolves complaints, questions, and concerns. Responds as appropriate.
· Facilities regularly scheduled team meetings to review performance, share new policies and procedures and keep employees informed of departmental issues.
· Provides coaching and mentoring to team members to improve operational effectiveness and quality.
· Consistently monitors staff performance and provides feedback, administers corrective action as needed for staff who are not meeting expectations.
· Responsible for monitoring adherence to the time and attendance policy and overseeing payroll.
· Identifies operational issues by regularly reviewing current processes and recommends solutions and improvements.
· Maintains effective professional relationships with other department leadership as appropriate to share and implement actions related to Patient Access functions.
· Effectively communicates with employees, other departments, physician’s offices and patients.
· Performs all other duties as needed/assigned.
Required:-
2 years of healthcare experience
Strong communication, interpersonal and team building skills
Problem-solving and decision-making skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work in a high volume fast-paced environment
Ability to flex work scheduled as needed

Associates Degree
Bilingual English and Spanish
Prior supervisory experience
Prior Emergency Center registration experience
Full understanding for the revenue cycle
Strong knowledge of third-party insurance
