This role involves contributing to the design and development of advanced telecommunications infrastructure supporting fiber optic, coaxial, and hybrid communication networks. You will work on engineering design projects for outside plant (OSP) systems, transforming field data into precise, build-ready designs that enable reliable connectivity across large-scale networks. The position offers exposure to US-based projects, industry standards, and high-volume production environments where accuracy and efficiency are critical. You will collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and quality teams to ensure seamless delivery of technical documentation and design outputs. The role is well-suited for detail-oriented professionals who enjoy combining technical design skills with structured engineering processes. It provides an opportunity to grow within a collaborative, learning-driven environment that values precision, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Design and develop OSP (Outside Plant) fiber optic and coaxial cable site plans using AutoCAD or similar CAD tools, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Interpret survey field notes, sketches, and engineering inputs to create new designs or update existing telecommunications layouts.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation including bills of materials, splice sheets, and related engineering deliverables.
- Manage drawing revisions and ensure accurate version control across all project documentation.
- Collaborate with project managers, design engineers, and QC teams to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards.
- Ensure adherence to customer requirements, industry regulations, and technical design standards throughout all deliverables.
- Maintain productivity and accuracy while working in a high-volume, deadline-driven production environment.
- 1–8 years of experience in telecommunications design, particularly in fiber (FTTx), HFC, EPON, or coaxial network systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software, with familiarity in tools such as ArcGIS, Bentley MicroStation, SpatialNet, or equivalent platforms.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and field documentation accurately.
- Strong knowledge of telecommunications industry standards and design practices, especially for OSP networks.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, for coordination with global teams.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks efficiently.
- Adaptability to changing project requirements and ability to quickly learn new design tools and systems.
- Collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Remote full-time position with structured shift options aligned to international project needs.
- Competitive compensation aligned with experience and technical expertise.
- Opportunity to work on US-based telecommunications infrastructure projects.
- Exposure to advanced design tools and industry-leading engineering workflows.
- Structured training period to support onboarding and technical ramp-up.
- Career development opportunities in a growing, innovation-driven technical environment.
- Inclusive, team-oriented culture focused on learning, support, and professional growth.
