Job Description

We are in search of a 1 st Shift Janitor to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for performs a variety of duties necessary to keep the distribution center and exterior grounds in a clean, and orderly condition.

Responsibilities Include:

• Collects trash daily from various points throughout the DC. Sort's trash from recyclables as needed, and place in appropriate staging areas. Runs garbage compactor, and cardboard baler. Makes and stores cardboard bales as needed. Cleans trash receptacles as needed.

• Daily use and maintenance of a drivable floor scrubbing machine.

• Daily cleaning of shipping office.

• Fill in for other cleaning staff as needed, as well as other duties and projects as assigned by management

• Additional duties or special projects as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• 1-2 years Commercial/Industrial cleaning experience.
• Ability to be trained on use of walkie-rider pallet jacks, as well as drivable floor scrubber.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance as needed, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with assistance as needed.
• Ability to pass job-related employment screenings, to include a criminal background check and drug test

Compensation & Benefits

The pay range for this role is $16.00 per hour. This range represents what the company reasonably expects to pay an associate for this role based on current market data, internal equity, and other business factors. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations.
