About This Position

Financial Analytics Consultant

We're looking for someone who speaks the language of CFOs and finance teamssomeone who's lived the challenges of consolidation, close processes, and FP&A workflows, and now wants to help others solve them.

As a Financial Analytics Consultant at Keboola, you'll be the trusted advisor who leads discovery conversations, designs solutions from a business perspective, and helps prospects see how our Financial Intelligence platform addresses their specific challenges. You won't just demo softwareyou'll consult on how to solve real financial analytics problems.
What You'll Do
  • Lead Discovery
  • Run business discovery sessions with finance stakeholdersCFOs, VPs of Finance, Controllers, FP&A teams
  • Ask the questions that uncover real challenges, not just surface-level requirements
  • Build relationships with senior finance executives as a peer, not a vendor
Design Solutions
  • Translate business requirements into solution concepts that our Data Solutions Engineers can implement
  • Present Keboola's Financial Intelligence solution in the context of each prospect's specific use cases
  • Document clear requirements that minimize churn during implementation
Shape Our Offering
  • Contribute to positioning, content, and messaging for Financial Intelligence
  • Create thought leadership contentblog posts, webinars, case studies
  • Support key accounts with ongoing advisory on financial analytics best practices
What We're Looking For
  • Experience: 4+ years in FP&A, financial systems, or finance transformation roles
  • Background (in priority order):FP&A analysts/managers from mid-to-enterprise companies who've done consolidation and reportingFinancial systems analysts who've implemented EPM/CPM toolsBig Four advisoryspecifically Finance Transformation or Performance Improvement (not audit)Finance consultants from boutique firms focused on CFO services
  • Mindset: You're curious about how things work. You enjoy explaining complex topics simply. You're ready to move from "doing the work" to "helping others do it better."

Must-Haves (Non-Negotiable)
  • Financial Domain Expertise You deeply understand financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow), consolidation processes, and FP&A workflows including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. You've lived thisyou didn't just read about it. You know what keeps finance teams up at night because you've been there.
  • Hands-on Data Experience You've worked with data beyond Excel. You can write SQL. You've built reports, analyses, or models pulling from databases or data warehouses. You understand what "good data" looks like and why it matters.
  • Stakeholder Engagement You can hold a conversation with a CFO as a peer. You ask good questions, listen actively, and synthesize what you hear into actionable insights. Senior finance executives don't intimidate youthey energize you.
  • English Proficiency Professional working proficiency is essential. You'll lead discovery calls with CFOs, present to executive audiences, and produce written content in English. Our Financial Intelligence GTM is globalthis isn't optional.

Strong Pluses
  • Experience with multi-entity consolidation (intercompany eliminations, currency conversion)
  • Familiarity with EPM/CPM tools (Adaptive, Anaplan, Jedox, OneStream)
  • Understanding of accounting principles and close processes
  • Experience in an advisory or consulting capacity
Nice to Have
  • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics)
  • German language skills (for DACH market expansion)
  • Previous sales or pre-sales exposureCzech language skills
