About This Position

Position Summary

The West Coast Technician Supervisor is responsible for the supervision, coordination, development, and operational support of Medical Gas Technicians (Tech I–III) across the West Coast sub-region. This role reports directly to the West Coast Regional Manager and serves as the primary field execution leader responsible for daily alignment, technical guidance, service readiness, and technician development.

This is a working supervisory position structured to balance hands-on field work with leadership, coordination, and operational oversight. The role is designed for approximately three days per week performing field work and two days per week dedicated to leadership responsibilities, including daily alignment, scheduling coordination, coaching, and performance oversight.

The Technician Supervisor leads a 5-minute daily morning huddle every day, with a longer Friday huddle focused on weekly performance, wins, misses, safety observations, and upcoming priorities. The Supervisor works closely with the Scheduling Coordinator and Regional Manager to ensure priority accounts are supported and that work is executed consistently and without gaps.

This role supports technician onboarding, skill development, and certification readiness as part of the company’s broader training efforts. Specific training expectations and responsibilities are defined separately and may evolve over time based on business needs.

The Technician Supervisor participates in a rotating East/West Coast on-call schedule and provides after-hours technical escalation support.
