JOB SUMMARY

Provides excellent customer service in a retail liquor store environment by assisting customers, handling transactions, and ensuring compliance with all applicable alcohol sales regulations. Supports daily store operations through stocking, merchandising, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides excellent customer service by assisting customers with product selection, answering questions, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
• Accurately operates the point of sale system, handling cash, credit, and other forms of payment
• Verifies customer identification to ensure compliance with all age-restricted alcohol sales laws and company policies
• Receives, stocks, and rotates merchandise while maintaining proper organization and product freshness
• Maintains clean, safe, and organized shelves, displays, and backroom areas in accordance with company standards
• Ensures pricing, labeling, and signage are accurate and up to date
• Monitors inventory levels and communicates low stock or discrepancies to management
• Follows all state and company regulations related to the handling, sale, and storage of alcoholic beverages
• Assists with merchandising, promotions, and seasonal displays to support sales initiatives
• Supports overall store operations and completes additional duties as assigned

• Ability to accurately handle cash and operate point of sale systems
• Attention to detail with pricing, labeling, and inventory management
• Ability to follow company policies and state regulations related to alcohol sales

• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain clean and orderly work areas

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum age of 21 years
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Equivalent combinations of education and relevant work experience will be considered

PHYSICAL/SENSORY DEMANDS

• Works in a generally safe and comfortable store environment with possible exposure to hot and cold conditions
• Frequently performs grasping, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, twisting, crouching, and reaching
• Performs repetitive tasks requiring coordination of hands, eyes, and feet
• Stands, walks, and bends throughout the entire workday
• Lifts and moves objects up to 30 pounds
• Hears and responds to customer inquiries
