This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Human Resources Specialist based in Canada.

This role is focused on shaping impactful learning and development experiences that support both employees and leaders in building skills, confidence, and performance. You will design and deliver engaging training programs across multiple formats, combining modern instructional design techniques with practical, business-aligned learning solutions. The position plays a key role in enhancing employee experience through onboarding, leadership development, and continuous learning initiatives. You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts and business leaders to ensure training content is relevant, accurate, and aligned with organizational priorities. This is a highly collaborative environment where creativity, communication, and instructional expertise come together to support a strong learning culture. The role also includes facilitation responsibilities across virtual, hybrid, and in-person settings.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver learning solutions that strengthen employee capabilities and support organizational performance across multiple functions and levels.

  • Design and develop learning programs across various formats including eLearning, instructor-led training, webinars, multimedia content, job aids, and performance support tools.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify training needs aligned with strategic business priorities.
  • Ensure learning content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with organizational goals and operational requirements.
  • Develop training solutions supporting onboarding, leadership development, product knowledge, systems training, and sales enablement.
  • Facilitate virtual, hybrid, and in-person training sessions for diverse audiences.
  • Coach presenters and internal facilitators to improve delivery and engagement effectiveness.
  • Manage and update digital learning content across learning platforms and systems.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings strong instructional design expertise, facilitation experience, and the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

  • 3+ years of experience in learning and development, instructional design, or a related training role.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Articulate 360, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Experience facilitating training programs in corporate, retail, or customer-focused environments.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and leadership teams.
  • Experience managing learning content through platforms such as Workday, Moodle, or Blackboard.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong presentation abilities.
  • Ability to design engaging, learner-centered content that supports performance improvement.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
