Diabetes Education Coordinator at AnMed – Anderson, South Carolina

Planning, implementing, and evaluating diabetes education for the inpatient and outpatient service line. Developing standards of care for diabetic patients at AnMed.

Qualifications: Requires a healthcare professional, registered nurse preferred, with the education and experience necessary for CDE certification and state licensure, registration or certification specific for area of professionalism. Requires a minimum of one or two years of clinical experience working with the diabetic population in a variety of settings. Position requires a Certified Diabetes Educator or someone eligible for certification (within three years) by the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
