This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Workday Integrations Principal Consultant - Global AMS (Global Application Managed Services) based in the United States.
This role is a senior, post-production Workday leadership position focused on managing and optimizing integration services across multiple client accounts within a global managed services environment. You will act as a key onshore lead, guiding integration strategy, delivery, and continuous improvement while working closely with offshore teams to ensure seamless execution. The role combines deep technical Workday expertise with strong client-facing consulting, requiring the ability to translate business needs into scalable integration solutions. You will play a critical part in ensuring service stability, driving operational excellence, and delivering measurable value through innovation and best practices. This position also involves mentoring consultants, shaping delivery standards, and contributing to proposal and RFP efforts. It is a highly collaborative role where leadership, problem-solving, and technical depth directly influence client success and long-term platform performance.
The Workday Integrations Principal Consultant is responsible for leading integration delivery and optimization across AMS engagements, ensuring high-quality service execution and continuous improvement.
- Lead the integration workstream across assigned client accounts, acting as the primary onshore expert for Workday Integrations and Workday Studio solutions.
- Manage day-to-day AMS operations including incidents, root cause analysis, enhancements, and service requests in collaboration with offshore teams.
- Provide on-call and periodic holiday coverage to ensure continuity of service delivery.
- Drive trend analysis, identify service improvements, and contribute to the development of internal tools, assets, and best practices.
- Conduct estimation activities and actively support proposals, RFP responses, and solution design for new engagements.
- Engage directly with clients to analyze business requirements and deliver complex integration solutions aligned with Workday best practices.
- Mentor and guide consultants while promoting knowledge sharing and strengthening overall team capability across engagements.
This role requires strong Workday integration expertise combined with consulting experience in global managed services environments.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of client-facing experience in corporate applications within a global delivery or managed services model.
- At least 3+ years of hands-on experience specifically in Workday Integrations.
- Deep expertise in Workday integration architecture and configuration; Workday Studio certification is required or strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of post-production support, AMS methodologies, and incident management processes.
- Proven ability to multitask, manage priorities, and operate effectively in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
