Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Overtime Available

We are seeking an experienced CNC Small Parts Setup Mill Machinist to join our growing aerospace manufacturing team. This role is responsible for independently setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC milling machines to manufacture precision aerospace components while maintaining tight tolerances, exceptional quality standards, and production goals.
This position is ideal for machinists with experience in CNC milling, aerospace manufacturing, blueprint reading, GD&T, precision inspection, and machining complex components from aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, Inconel, and other specialty alloys.
Essential Responsibilities
Perform complete setups and operation of CNC milling machines.
Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements.
Install tooling, fixtures, workholding devices, and machine offsets.
Produce precision aerospace components to exact customer specifications.
Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring equipment.
Monitor tooling and machine performance while making necessary offset adjustments.
Troubleshoot machining, tooling, fixture, and program-related issues.
Maintain compliance with AS9100 quality standards and aerospace manufacturing requirements.
Complete production and inspection documentation accurately.
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
Qualifications
3+ years of CNC milling setup experience.
Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred.
Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills.
Experience holding tolerances of ±0.0005" or tighter.
Proficiency using micrometers, calipers, indicators, height gauges, and other precision inspection equipment.
Experience with Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, Okuma, or similar CNC controls.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
