POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:

The RCML Supervisor is responsible for oversight of color match technicians and admins in accurate


processing of customer projects including final quality review. Supervises team to ensure objectives


are met through monitoring, coaching, and driving effective training built to develop all RCML personnel


to meet customer requirements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate high capacity for organization,


communication, and leadership.



ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Oversee accurate processing of all incoming requests from customers, CTS, or Sales.


• Ensure high-quality proof is generated in line with customer request.


• Oversee projects submitted to the RCML for work off/dormant inventory reduction.


• Supervise processing of special projects/efforts requiring resources to assist technical labs, CTS,


inplants, and manufacturing with product evaluation or substitutions.


• Performs standard tests to ensure compliance to specifications, makes test runs on proofs press,


submits test results.


• Provide accurate formulae for both local and feeder sites in Fiori.


• Accurately report daily hours through designated software for all RCML personnel.


• Complete and accurate reporting of all project activities daily through designated software.


• Keep RCML stocked with appropriate colorants, systems, vehicles, and substrates through the


inventory tracking system.


• Ensures proper maintenance, cleanliness, and working condition of all lab equipment.


• Calibration of all equipment according to frequency schedule and maintaining in EtQ Gauge


Management.


• Respond to inquiries in VA 15 in conjunction with technical lab staff.


• Works with management to determine project priorities.


• Sets and keeps lab schedules for color matches and keeps up to date on all amendments to


original projects.


• Monitors RCML mailbox for new requests on a frequent basis.


• Fields urgent RCML incoming phone calls as required for expediting needs.


• Defines need for ordering equipment and supplies for RCML through an approval process.


• Oversees the training of laboratory personnel.


• Adheres to all safety rules and regulations according to ISO/EHS. Monitors all personnel safety


training, including self, in Dupont training system.


• Completes performance management evaluation of team.



REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Associate degree, technical trade school or minimum 5 years ink industry technical experience


• 4-6 years prior color matching in multiple ink systems


• Excellent organizational and time management skills


• Exceptional attention to detail.


• Good organization skills: ability to prioritize.


• Strong Customer Service Skills with the ability to follow up and follow through.


• Inplant experience a plus.
