The team at Barrie Dental Arts located in Barrie, ON are looking for a passionate, hard-working Dental Administrator on a full-time basis.
The ideal Dental Administrator for our team enjoys working collaboratively with others and behind the scenes to organize, implement systems and structure and ensure the practice runs efficiently.

SCHEDULE:
- 20-35 hours per week
- 5 Days of the week
- No evenings or weekends
DUTIES
- Welcoming patients into the dental office and preparing patients for treatments
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, using dental software such as Abeldent
- Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and handle administrative tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient operations within the practice.
- Schedule and confirm appointments.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage office correspondence.
- Handle phone systems effectively, addressing patient inquiries and concerns.
- Process patient check-ins and check-outs, including verifying insurance information.
- Assist with billing and payment processing as needed.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and care.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role is preferred..
- Completion of a Dental Administration Program/Certificate is an asset
- Experience with dental practice management software such as ABELDENT is considered an asset
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
- Customer service mindset
