This role sits at the intersection of employee benefits technology, data architecture, and implementation delivery within a fast-paced consulting environment. You will support the design, configuration, and deployment of benefits administration systems for employer clients, ensuring accurate, high-quality, and timely implementation outcomes. The position involves working closely with technical configuration teams, project managers, and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable system solutions. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior teammates and improving internal processes to enhance overall delivery performance. With exposure to multiple concurrent projects, you will help ensure consistency, quality, and alignment across implementations. This is a hands-on technical and client-facing role where precision, collaboration, and leadership directly shape project success.

Accountabilities
  • Lead and support the implementation of employee benefits administration systems for low to moderate complexity clients, ensuring high-quality delivery and adherence to timelines.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed technical configurations and implementation deliverables across data and EDI processes.
  • Serve as a key technical point of contact for internal teams and clients throughout implementation phases, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and escalate issues to project managers or leadership when necessary to maintain delivery standards.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, supporting skill development and continuous improvement in technical execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional EBTech teams to ensure consistent application of processes, quality standards, and implementation best practices.
  • Conduct regular reviews of project outputs to ensure accuracy, compliance, and successful system deployment.
Requirements

This role requires strong experience in benefits administration systems, data/EDI configuration, and software implementation within a structured, client-facing environment. Candidates should bring both technical expertise and leadership potential, with the ability to manage complexity while mentoring others.

  • 4–8 years of professional experience, including 3–5 years in software implementation or benefits technology environments.
  • Intermediate knowledge of employee benefits programs and implementation requirements.
  • Experience with benefits administration software, ideally within a service provider or large-market environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related business tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a professional client-facing approach.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive client data.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with sound judgment in complex implementation scenarios.
  • Life and Health Insurance license or ability to obtain within one year of employment.
Benefits
  • Competitive annual salary of approximately $70,000.
  • Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employee stock purchase program (ESPP).
  • Student loan assistance and tuition reimbursement programs.
  • Paid time off, holidays, and additional employee discount programs.
  • Mental health and wellness support, including enhanced advocacy services.
  • Professional development opportunities and structured career growth pathways.
  • Inclusive and collaborative work environment focused on continuous learning and leadership development.
