This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer, Accounting based in Ireland.

This is a high-impact engineering opportunity to help build a next-generation financial subsystem powering trust accounting within a leading SaaS platform. In this role, you will design and deliver critical frontend experiences that enable property managers to handle financial operations with accuracy, transparency, and compliance. You will contribute to a greenfield product area, helping define architecture, UX patterns, and engineering standards from the ground up. Working at the intersection of engineering, finance, product, and legal, you will build robust and intuitive interfaces for accounting, reconciliation, reporting, and payments workflows. The environment is fast-moving and highly collaborative, with a strong focus on quality, scalability, and trust. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex domain problems while shaping both product and technical direction.

Accountabilities
  • Design and develop scalable, high-quality frontend features for a trust accounting and financial operations product.
  • Build intuitive user workflows for accounting activities such as fund tracking, reconciliation, reporting, and payment visibility.
  • Develop and maintain a flexible, white-label React-based application supporting multiple customer configurations and branded experiences.
  • Contribute to frontend architecture decisions for a secure, auditable, and compliance-driven financial system.
  • Create and evolve reusable component libraries and actively contribute to design system improvements.
  • Ensure high standards for frontend performance, responsiveness, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Backend Engineering, Finance, and Legal teams to align on functional and compliance requirements.
  • Document frontend architecture, components, and engineering decisions to support long-term maintainability and knowledge sharing.
  • Identify and drive improvements in frontend systems, development practices, and user experience quality.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in SaaS frontend or full-stack engineering roles with strong frontend specialization.
  • Expert proficiency in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Proven experience building scalable, maintainable, and production-grade frontend applications.
  • Experience with financial, accounting, ledger, payment, or operations-focused products is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of state management patterns such as Redux, Context API, or similar approaches.
  • Experience building white-label or highly configurable frontend applications is strongly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of frontend performance optimization, responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent tools.
  • Familiarity with agile development environments and distributed, cross-functional teams.
  • Experience contributing to design systems or reusable UI component libraries is a plus.
  • Exposure to compliance-sensitive or audit-oriented product domains is highly valued.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Benefits
  • Fully remote working model within the EMEA region.
  • Competitive compensation aligned with market rates.
  • Equity participation in a high-growth, profitable company.
  • Flexible work environment with location independence.
  • Annual paid leave aligned with local country regulations.
  • Country-specific benefits such as health insurance and pension schemes where applicable.
  • Strong focus on professional growth, learning, and internal mobility opportunities.
  • Inclusive and global team culture spanning 40+ countries.
  • Opportunity to work on a high-impact, mission-critical financial product.
  • Values-driven environment emphasizing trust, quality, and long-term thinking.
