Partner is a leading data and analytics organization focused on delivering high-impact insights across fast-moving industries such as software, AI, cloud, e-commerce, ridesharing, and payments. In this role, you will be part of a high-performance engineering environment where quality, speed, and ownership are central to everything built. You will collaborate closely with data and software engineering teams to ensure the reliability of complex data-driven products used by global investment and enterprise clients. The role involves designing and executing robust testing strategies across web, API, and backend systems. You will also contribute to automation frameworks and continuously improve QA processes. This is a remote-first opportunity based in India, working within a culture that values autonomy, impact, and continuous learning.
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies across web, API, and backend systems to ensure product reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with engineering and data teams throughout the development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to production release.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to validate system stability across releases.
- Identify, document, track, and help resolve defects using standard issue tracking tools such as Jira.
- Contribute to automation initiatives by developing and maintaining test scripts using Python and related frameworks.
- Participate in release cycles and ensure timely validation of features before deployment.
- Support continuous improvement of QA processes, test coverage, and overall software quality standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5–8 years of experience in QA engineering, including functional, manual, and automation testing.
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, C++, C, or Go.
- Hands-on experience writing automated test scripts and working with QA frameworks like Pytest.
- Solid understanding of software development best practices and Agile methodologies.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with tools such as Jira and familiarity with CI/CD workflows.
