Location: Fremont, CAJob Type: Full-Time | Non-ExemptPay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour (DOE)Reports To: Resident Manager
About the RoleSt. Anton Multifamily is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Leasing Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the full leasing cycle—from engaging prospective residents to successfully executing leases and supporting current residents.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys sales, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service while helping maintain high occupancy levels.________________________________________What You’ll DoLeasing & Sales• Greet and engage prospective residents via phone, email, online inquiries, and in person• Schedule and conduct property tours, showcasing model and available units• Follow up with prospects to convert leads into leases• Maintain accurate records of leads, appointments, and leasing activityApplication & Move-In Process• Process rental applications and verify required information• Explain lease terms, deposits, and move-in requirements• Prepare lease agreements and ensure accurate data entry in property systems• Coordinate move-in logistics, including inspections, keys, and documentationResident Support• Provide exceptional service to current and prospective residents• Receive and track maintenance requests and follow up on completion• Assist with rent collection and delinquency follow-up when neededAdministrative & Reporting• Maintain organized resident and applicant files• Prepare leasing reports and update unit availability status• Support lease renewals and ensure compliance with policies and regulationsCompliance & Market Awareness• Ensure full compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies• Stay informed about local market trends and competitor properties________________________________________What We’re Looking ForQualifications• High school diploma or equivalent required• Previous experience in leasing, sales, or customer service preferredSkills & Abilities• Strong communication and interpersonal skills• Sales-driven mindset with a customer-first approach• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills• Ability to multitask and work both independently and as part of a team• Proficiency with computers and office equipment (experience with Yardi is a plus)________________________________________Physical Requirements• Ability to walk property grounds and tour apartment units• Ability to climb stairs and stand/sit for extended periods• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally________________________________________Why Join St. Anton Multifamily?• Opportunity to grow within a supportive property management team• Dynamic work environment with daily interaction and variety• Make a direct impact on resident satisfaction and community success
