This role is focused on driving business growth through targeted outbound prospecting and full-cycle management of transactional sales opportunities. The Client Development Associate engages with enterprise-level prospects, develops relationships with key finance and sustainability stakeholders, and manages discovery, demo delivery, and contract execution for standardized deals. The position requires strong strategic thinking, communication, and organizational skills to generate pipeline, accelerate sales, and support senior sales leadership. It also involves leveraging AI tools, CRM systems, and account-based strategies to maximize efficiency and customer relevance. This remote position offers collaboration across sales, marketing, product, and operations teams, providing high visibility and the opportunity to contribute directly to revenue growth and enterprise account expansion.
- Conduct outbound prospecting to identify and secure discovery meetings with enterprise prospects that match the Ideal Customer Profile.
- Maintain an active outreach plan using email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels to engage target contacts regularly.
- Lead transactional sales opportunities from discovery to contract signature, including demo delivery and execution of fixed-price agreements.
- Collaborate with Sales Directors to hand off larger strategic deals and align outreach strategies.
- Utilize AI, CRM tools, and account-based targeting to enhance messaging and sales efficiency.
- Track, document, and manage all client interactions and sales activities in CRM systems consistently.
- Support events, conferences, and marketing campaigns to generate new business opportunities and strengthen client engagement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree; knowledge of finance or energy-related solutions preferred.
- 5+ years of sales experience with significant self-generated lead generation in B2B environments.
- Experience engaging enterprise-level prospects and building net-new pipeline.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively.
- Proficient in CRM tools (Salesforce), LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and other contact management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, collaborate across teams, and achieve sales goals.
- Strategic thinking, problem-solving, negotiation, and adaptability in a dynamic business environment.
