REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

  • Donor Portfolio Growth: Proven ability to manage and grow a mid-level donor portfolio with measurable year-over-year increases in giving and engagement
  • Donor Identification & Advancement: Strong capability in identifying, qualifying, and cultivating new donors, with disciplined movement of relationships through stages of engagement and successful handoff of top-tier prospects to major gift portfolio.
  • Program Leadership & Execution: Experience designing and executing annual giving, corporate giving and donor engagement initiatives with clear performance outcomes
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to use donor database data, reporting, and analytics to inform strategy, prioritize efforts and measure success
  • Communication & Influence: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively engage donors, leadership and cross-functional partners
  • Results Orientation: Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed participation, and revenue goals
  • Organization & Accountability: Strong attention to detail with consistent documentation of donor interactions, engagement activity and outcomes
