What You'll Expect

The Drop/Count Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of the drop and count process in accordance with New Hampshire Lottery Commission Regulations and all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to drop pick-up and the transferring of the drop to the Count room, as well as performing the main Count.

What You'll Do

  • Provide exceptional Guest service while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Collect cash boxes in a quick and efficient manner while minimizing interruptions on the gaming floor
  • Conduct the drop set-up, cash box replacement, retrieval, and transportation of the BV carts to the Count room
  • Utilize all drop equipment while taking special care around gaming tables, gaming machines, furniture, doorways, and Guests
  • Unload and reload cash box carts
  • Sort, count, wrap, and record the contents of slot drop boxes according to company standards
  • Count and record the currency, and tickets from the drop boxes and generate appropriate reports
  • Operate a 10-key calculator, currency counter/automatic bill sorter
  • Unload and reload cash box carts
  • Resolve staff issues or conflicts, escalating to management as needed to maintain a positive work environment
  • Ensure compliance with all state gaming regulations, internal controls, and company procedures
  • Maintain and reconcile count sheets and documentation; report any variances or irregularities
  • Prepare and submit daily reports and summaries to the Finance and Compliance departments
  • Assist in training new drop team members and ensure ongoing compliance with best practices
  • Conduct audits of drop/count operations as needed
  • Respond promptly to any discrepancies or procedural issues during count
  • Coordinate with Surveillance, Security, Cage, and Accounting departments as needed
  • Assists Cage Manager in maintaining accurate record

  • Ability to work in a secure, confined environment with flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays

What We Require

  • 2+ years of casino count room or cash handling experience preferred
  • 1+ year of supervisory or team lead experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license
