AI Specialist - Intern in Los Angeles, California at Freshlunches

This is a project-based internship designed to help Unity Meals identify, develop, and implement practical Artificial Intelligence solutions that improve efficiency, reduce errors, and support continued organizational growth. During the 120-day assignment, the intern will work closely with leadership and department managers to evaluate business processes, recommend AI-driven improvements, and assist in deploying automation and AI tools across the organization.

The AI Specialist Intern will be expected to:

• Conduct an organization-wide assessment of business processes and identify AI and automation opportunities.
• Develop a prioritized list of recommended AI initiatives based on potential business impact.
• Create and implement AI-powered tools, workflows, or agents that improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with department leaders in Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Sales, Production, and Logistics.
• Document processes, implementation plans, and results.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to employees utilizing newly implemented tools.
• Present a final report to leadership summarizing completed projects, measurable results, and recommendations for future AI initiatives.

• Hourly Rate: $30.00 per hour
