The Medical Assistant Trainee (MA Trainee) is accepted into an Approved Medical Assistant program and will concurrently attend school while working part-time with TidalHealth. The MA Trainee will initially learn about rooming patients, taking vitals, ensuring patient records are accurate, and providing back office clerical support as needed. Once the MA Trainee has built the required skillset, they will take responsibility of the duties under the supervision of the Medical Assistant Instructor or Office Supervisor.

Medical Assistant Position Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent is required. Acceptance into an approved Medical Assistant training program is required.
