Overview
We are seeking a Configuration Management Specialist (Senior Level) to lead configuration management activities for a Department of War Configuration Management Support Services program. The Senior Configuration Management Specialist provides expert-level baseline control across complex systems.
*This position is contingent upon contract award.*
Responsibilities
- Lead configuration management activities.
- Facilitate and advise Configuration Control Boards (CCBs).
- Review engineering change requests.
- Maintain configuration baselines and records.
- Support audits and compliance activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Security Requirements:
- Must possess IT-II clearance or a current NACLC. U.S. Citizenship required.
Education:
- Significant coursework or a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
- Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience supporting complex configuration management efforts.
- Demonstrated leadership in configuration management.
- Expert knowledge of the development and maintenance of DLMS or (ASC) X12 Implementation Conventions using EDIFECS SpecBuilder software
Certifications:
- Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
Desired Experience and Skillset:
- Experience facilitating CCBs.
- Experience supporting DoD enterprise IT programs.
