Overview

We are seeking a Configuration Management Specialist (Senior Level) to lead configuration management activities for a Department of War Configuration Management Support Services program. The Senior Configuration Management Specialist provides expert-level baseline control across complex systems.

*This position is contingent upon contract award.*



Responsibilities

  • Lead configuration management activities.
  • Facilitate and advise Configuration Control Boards (CCBs).
  • Review engineering change requests.
  • Maintain configuration baselines and records.
  • Support audits and compliance activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Security Requirements:

  • Must possess IT-II clearance or a current NACLC. U.S. Citizenship required.

Education:

  • Significant coursework or a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience supporting complex configuration management efforts.
  • Demonstrated leadership in configuration management.
  • Expert knowledge of the development and maintenance of DLMS or (ASC) X12 Implementation Conventions using EDIFECS SpecBuilder software

Certifications:

  • Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.

Desired Experience and Skillset:

  • Experience facilitating CCBs.
  • Experience supporting DoD enterprise IT programs.
