In this role, you will lead critical functions concerning external reporting and technical accounting in an organization that is experiencing rapid growth and increasing complexity. Your work will have a substantial impact on ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, while collaborating with multiple departments to support strategic business objectives. This player/coach position will demand leadership capabilities as well as a hands-on approach to navigate the intricacies of complex accounting situations. You will play a key role in maintaining regulatory compliance and supporting business initiatives across the organization.

Accountabilities

Own and lead the preparation and filing of all SEC reports (10-K, 10-Q, etc.)
Drive the review and continuous improvement of disclosures for accuracy and compliance
Lead technical accounting analysis in areas such as equity and stock-based compensation
Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Tax, and other teams on disclosures and emerging issues
Maintain a robust SOX control environment related to financial reporting
Advise leadership on accounting implications of strategic initiatives
Build and mentor a high-performing team while remaining hands-on
Identify and drive process improvements across reporting workflows

Requirements

12+ years of progressive accounting experience, particularly in SEC reporting
Deep knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
Strong SOX compliance experience
Ability to balance hands-on execution with team leadership
Experience with complex accounting issues and cross-functional collaboration
