This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Team Lead, Configuration Testing (SDET/Facets/AI/RPA background preferred) based in the United States.
This role is a hands-on leadership opportunity focused on driving quality and accuracy across healthcare configuration testing environments. You will oversee testing activities related to medical benefits, claims workflows, provider reimbursement, and clinical editing systems. The position plays a key role in ensuring system integrity, compliance, and operational efficiency within complex health plan platforms. You will guide a team responsible for day-to-day testing execution while improving processes and reducing defects. The environment is collaborative and fast-paced, requiring strong coordination with business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams. This role offers the chance to influence system reliability at scale while developing both people and processes in a critical operational domain.
- Lead and oversee daily configuration testing activities across medical benefits, claims workflows, provider reimbursement, letters, and clinical editing systems, ensuring accuracy and operational stability.
- Guide, train, and develop team members while prioritizing workloads, resolving resource constraints, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
- Track issues, manage tickets, and coordinate with business stakeholders to ensure proper follow-up, resolution, and communication across initiatives.
- Monitor configuration-related projects, ensure adherence to controls and approvals, and coordinate necessary system updates with management.
- Produce dashboards and reports for leadership, identify root causes of recurring issues, and implement proactive solutions to reduce future defects.
- Oversee vendor-related tasks, ensuring timely response, resolution, and alignment with internal standards and expectations.
- Support audits of system configuration to ensure compliance, accuracy, and mitigation of fraud, abuse, and operational risk.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience required.
- 3+ years of health plan business or systems solutions experience required.
- Experience with Facets or similar healthcare processing systems strongly preferred.
- Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical coding, and claims processing workflows.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities with attention to detail.
- Experience with business requirements gathering, system configuration, testing approaches, and change management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- CPC certification preferred.
- Competitive salary range: $83,000 – $132,800 annually.
