VP of Marketing

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a VP of Marketing based in Italy.

This is a high-impact executive leadership opportunity for a strategic and results-oriented marketing professional eager to shape the next phase of growth for a global SaaS business. The role combines strategic vision with hands-on execution across brand development, demand generation, product marketing, content, and go-to-market initiatives. Working closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams, you will drive market awareness, pipeline growth, customer acquisition, and revenue performance across international markets. Accountabilities
  • Define and execute the overall marketing strategy to support business growth, market expansion, and revenue objectives across multiple markets.
  • Lead brand development initiatives, including positioning, messaging, market narrative, and awareness-building programs.
  • Own demand generation and pipeline growth strategies targeting mid-market and enterprise customers.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market plans for existing offerings, new product launches, and strategic business initiatives.
  • Build and scale product marketing capabilities, ensuring clear communication of value propositions, competitive differentiation, and customer outcomes.
  • Oversee website performance, conversion optimization, SEO/AEO initiatives, customer acquisition funnels, and digital growth programs.
  • Lead content strategy and distribution across the full customer lifecycle to drive awareness, engagement, adoption, and retention.
  • Strengthen industry presence through public relations, thought leadership, events, partnerships, and ecosystem relationships.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and executive leadership to align growth initiatives and maximize business impact.
  • Recruit, develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, including at least 5 years in senior marketing leadership positions within high-growth technology organizations.
  • Strong expertise across demand generation, brand strategy, content marketing, product marketing, and go-to-market execution.
  • Proven experience building marketing programs that consistently drive pipeline growth, customer acquisition, and revenue impact.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI technologies to improve marketing performance, content effectiveness, growth initiatives, and operational efficiency.
  • Experience marketing multi-product platforms, software ecosystems, or complex technology solutions is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical mindset with expertise in performance measurement, attribution modeling, reporting, and data-driven decision making.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and team development capabilities.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, international, and highly collaborative environment.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills combined with a hands-on approach to execution and problem-solving.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken (C1 level or higher).
