This role sits at the heart of clinical development planning, where precision, coordination, and strategic foresight directly influence the successful delivery of critical healthcare programs. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining integrated project schedules that align cross-functional teams across development, operations, regulatory, and commercial functions. Working in a highly collaborative and mission-driven environment, you will ensure that timelines, resources, and dependencies are accurately mapped and continuously optimized. The role requires strong analytical thinking and the ability to translate complex project inputs into clear, actionable plans. You will actively support scenario planning, risk identification, and resource optimization to ensure efficient project execution. By partnering closely with project leaders and functional stakeholders, you will contribute to the successful advancement of therapies that ultimately improve patient outcomes. This position is well suited for someone who thrives in a structured yet dynamic, cross-functional environment.
- Develop, maintain, and coordinate integrated project schedules across clinical development, regulatory submissions, and commercial launch activities, ensuring alignment across all functions involved in product development programs.
- Monitor project timelines, resource allocation, and dependencies, identifying risks, conflicts, and potential delays while proactively proposing mitigation strategies.
- Support scenario planning and “what-if” analysis to evaluate project timelines, resource needs, and alternative execution strategies across multiple programs and therapeutic areas.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinical operations, regulatory, medical, and commercial stakeholders to optimize schedules and ensure milestone delivery.
- Track progress against key project milestones, highlighting critical path activities and supporting decision-making through timely reporting and analysis.
- Contribute to portfolio-level planning by providing accurate scheduling and resource data to support governance and strategic decision-making.
- Support continuous improvement of planning processes, tools, reporting standards, and cross-functional coordination practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline (Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred).
- Minimum 3–5+ years of experience in project planning, project management, or portfolio coordination within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or clinical research industry.
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling principles, resource forecasting, and cross-functional program coordination.
- Experience using planning and reporting tools such as MS Project, OnePager, Planisware, Spotfire, or similar platforms.
- Ability to analyze complex project data, identify risks, and communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration, negotiation, and facilitation skills with experience working in cross-functional global teams.
- PMP certification is considered an asset but not required.
- Familiarity with clinical development, regulatory submission planning, or product launch environments is highly desirable.
