This senior leadership role is responsible for shaping and overseeing the global enterprise information systems landscape within a fast-growing, highly regulated life sciences environment. You will define and execute the IT and applications strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities across a global organization. The role spans ownership of core enterprise platforms such as ERP, CRM, and clinical systems, as well as large-scale transformation initiatives. You will act as a key executive partner to business leaders, ensuring technology decisions enable operational excellence and regulatory compliance. Operating as a critical escalation point and delegate for the CIO, you will drive governance, consistency, and performance across global IT functions. This position offers the opportunity to directly influence digital transformation in a mission-driven organization focused on improving patient outcomes worldwide.
- Act as a senior delegate to the CIO, representing IT in executive forums, governance bodies, audits, and key stakeholder engagements.
- Define, execute, and continuously refine the enterprise information systems strategy in alignment with global business objectives.
- Lead the development and governance of enterprise application roadmaps, including ERP, CRM, and clinical systems.
- Oversee global IT operations to ensure consistent execution of standards, processes, and operating models across regions.
- Drive large-scale digital transformation initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability, and user experience across enterprise systems.
- Own portfolio governance, including prioritization, sequencing, dependency management, and delivery oversight across IT programs.
- Manage enterprise risk related to information systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.
- Oversee IT budgets, forecasts, and cost optimization initiatives to ensure financial discipline and value delivery.
- Manage vendor relationships and strategic technology partnerships to support long-term platform evolution.
- 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including senior roles such as Senior Director IT, Head of Enterprise Applications, or Deputy CIO.
- Proven experience managing global enterprise application portfolios in complex, regulated environments.
- Strong expertise in enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, and other large-scale business platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to lead global, distributed teams and manage external vendors and service providers.
- Strong background in IT governance, financial management, and portfolio delivery oversight.
- Experience operating in highly regulated industries with strong compliance and audit requirements.
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior leadership.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to align technology investments to business outcomes and transformation goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required.
