This role is a field-driven, revenue-focused sales position responsible for managing and expanding a diverse portfolio of non-key accounts across a defined territory. You will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing customer relationships, and driving consistent growth across instruments, consumables, and service offerings. The position blends proactive prospecting with structured account management in a fast-paced industrial environment. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and channel partners to ensure seamless customer engagement and strong solution positioning. Success in this role requires a balance of technical curiosity, commercial discipline, and strong relationship-building skills. It offers the opportunity to grow into more strategic account ownership over time while directly impacting regional performance. This is a remote position with significant autonomy and visibility.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of non-key accounts within the assigned territory, ensuring consistent engagement and revenue expansion across product lines and services.
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, account mapping, and relationship building with key stakeholders.
- Execute structured sales activities including lead generation, quoting, follow-ups, pricing within guidelines, and pipeline management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customer contacts across operations, quality, procurement, and engineering functions.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, applications, service, and customer success) and channel partners to deliver aligned customer solutions.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasting, and territory planning while supporting reporting and performance tracking.
- Represent the organization at trade shows, conferences, webinars, and through digital engagement channels.
- 5+ years of experience in sales or customer-facing roles, ideally within industrial, technical, manufacturing, or B2B environments.
- Strong foundational sales capabilities including prospecting, qualification, consultative selling, and closing.
- Ability to manage a high-volume territory while maintaining discipline in pipeline management and forecasting.
- Technical aptitude and willingness to learn instrumentation, measurement technologies, and QA/QC-related applications.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and external partners in a fast-moving environment.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and comfort working in data-driven, performance-oriented sales environments.
