This role sits within a high-impact audit function focused on strengthening risk management, governance, and internal control frameworks across a global financial services environment. You will be responsible for executing end-to-end audit engagements that assess operational effectiveness and regulatory compliance across corporate functions such as HR, legal, administration, and security. The position plays a critical part in ensuring transparency, control effectiveness, and risk mitigation in a highly regulated industry. Working closely with audit managers and senior stakeholders, you will contribute to planning, fieldwork, reporting, and issue resolution activities. The environment is dynamic and intellectually demanding, offering strong exposure to banking and financial services operations at scale. - Execute risk-based audit and advisory engagements across corporate and operational functions, ensuring alignment with internal audit methodologies and industry standards.
- Support the full audit lifecycle including planning, fieldwork, testing, documentation, and reporting of findings and recommendations.
- Evaluate internal controls, risk management practices, and operational processes to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare audit reports and communicate findings to audit managers, senior leadership, and relevant business stakeholders.
- Contribute to issue tracking, remediation monitoring, and closure of action plans in coordination with management teams.
- Present audit results and insights to stakeholders while ensuring clarity, accuracy, and relevance of observations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen control environments and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in special audit projects and contribute to enhancing audit methodologies and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree required; professional certifications such as CA, CPA, or CIA are highly preferred.
- 5–8 years of experience in internal audit or public accounting, preferably within BFSI or Big 4 environments.
- Strong understanding of financial and operational controls, risk management frameworks, and audit methodologies.
- Experience in auditing corporate functions such as HR, legal, administration, or security is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing regulatory or operational requirements, and work under tight deadlines.
- High level of professionalism with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in global teams.
