Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are currently hiring German Language Teachers to provide face-to-face customized lessons to our clients in Bern, Switzerland.

• Reference: 188732
• Students: 1 adult
• Availability: Wednesday morning (8:00 am – 12:00 pm), Friday evening (4:00 pm - 8:00 pm), Saturday morning (8:00 am – 12:00 pm). Flexibility needed
• Preferred start date: Monday, October 20, 2025
• Lesson Frequency: 2x a week; 1hr. lessons
• Student’s location: Near Spitalgasse, Bern, 3011, Switzerland
• Current target language level: Beginner
• Native and other spoken languages: Romanian, English - Advanced/Native; French - Beginner/intermediate
• Student’s language needs and goals: The student would like to be able to handle basic day-to-day activities in the local language: going to the grocery store, ordering at a restaurant, doctor appointments, connecting with local authorities for regular paperwork, and asking for directions

Responsibilities:

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
• Developing curricula based on learners' proficiency level and desired outcomes
• Monitoring students' progress and guiding learners towards learning goals
• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:

• To have native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the German language
• To have a degree or certification in teaching, linguistics, or similar field
• To have a minimum of two years of teaching German language experience
