On the Rehabilitation team, we’re unique because of the combination of patient interaction, problem-solving, and teamwork. You'll work closely with Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and administrative professionals while helping patients navigate their care journey across multiple clinic locations.
ABOUT THE POSITION
OAM + i’move is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator Floater to join our Rehabilitation team. The Patient Experience Coordinator serves as a dedicated ambassador for physical therapy, playing a pivotal, patient-centered role in relationship management, schedule coordination, and information oversight. This role collaborates closely with administrative and clinical teams to ensure exceptional patient experiences and optimal outcomes. Coverage includes North Muskegon, Cove (Spring Lake), Henry (Muskegon), Apple (Muskegon), and Beechtree (Grand Haven) clinics. Monday – Friday, variable hours between 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. based on clinic needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcome and assist patients and visitors
- Manage patient scheduling, referrals, and waitlists
- Verify and update patient information and documentation
- Collect patient payments and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate communication with patients, clinicians, and insurance companies
- Process referrals and insurance-related requirements
- Support clinic operations and maintain an organized environment
- Travel between clinic locations as needed
- Skills & Competencies: Exceptional customer service, communication, organization, multitasking, attention to detail, adaptability, and computer proficiency.
- Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED required. Healthcare, medical office, administrative, or customer service experience preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout the clinic workday and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
