Job Description
Under the general direction of the Manager, Talent Acquisition, this position is responsible for delivering full‑cycle recruitment and talent advisory services across the organization. The Talent Acquisition Partner supports hiring managers, coordinates recruitment activities, manages candidate pipelines, and ensures an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience. This role upholds company policies and procedures, leads by example, and contributes to a positive, inclusive, and service‑oriented work environment.
- Manages full‑cycle recruitment — including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination
- Builds and maintains candidate pipelines for high‑volume and specialized roles
- Partners with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and provide recruitment guidance
- Prepares recruitment‑related correspondence including interview schedules, offer letters, and candidate communications
- Attends career fairs and recruitment events as a company representative
- Supports pre‑employment requirements
- Maintains accurate recruitment records and ensures compliance with internal processes
- Supports employer branding initiatives and promotes the organization as an employer of choice
- Provides recruitment analytics and insights to support workforce planning
- Collaborates with HR colleagues on onboarding, transfers, and workforce transitions
- Ensures compliance with employment legislation, licensing requirements, and internal policies
- Builds strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders
- Performs other duties as assigned
Education and Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recruitment experience, preferably in a high‑volume or multi‑site operations
- HR experience considered an asset, particularly in regulated or policy driven environments
- Experience recruiting or working in a union environment considered an asset
- Demonstrated ability to deliver consistent service to candidates and hiring managers
- Strong understanding of BC employment legislation and its application to recruitment, selection, and documentation practices
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information in accordance with organizational policies and legislative requirements
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with HRIS or ATS platforms to ensure accurate and compliant record-keeping
- Ability to obtain and maintain a gaming worker license

You’re tech‑savvy with MS Office and familiar with HRIS or ATS platforms, and you’re able to work effectively with all levels of the organization. Experience in unionized environments is an asset.
Work Environment Considerations
Working onsite five days per week to support strong collaboration, relationship‑building, and high‑visibility partnership with hiring managers and operational teams. The primary work location for this role is River Rock Casino Resort in Richmond, with the expectation of providing support to other properties when operational needs arise. The role involves occasional non‑traditional work hours depending on recruitment demands.

Compensation for this position is based on experience, with a salary range of $60,000–$75,000. While placement within the range depends on qualifications, the hiring target for this role is approximately $65,000. This position is also eligible for a company bonus program tied to overall organizational performance.
