OR RN at Winslow Memorial Hospital Inc – Winslow, Arizona

The Surgery RN is under the supervision of the OR Nurse Manager, Nursing Managers and Chief Nursing Officer. The surgery nurse is responsible for the assessment, monitoring, care, and safety of the patient while in the OP, PACU and OR. He/she anticipates the needs of the surgical team and provides such services while maintaining an aseptic and safe environment. The surgery nurse admits, treats, and discharges tor transfers the patient during the entire period while the patient is in the surgical suite.

Education: Graduate from accredited School of Nursing

Experience: 6 months clinical experience and recent clinical experience in OR, circulating- preferred

Specific Skills: Nursing

Computer Skills: Moderate Computer skills and EMR required

Licenses: Current or Compact RN License

Certifications: BLS- required upon hire

NRP, ACLS, PALS
