This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, Finance Transformation (P2P) based in the United States.
This is a high-impact leadership role at the center of enterprise Procure-to-Pay transformation, combining global process ownership with large-scale operational change. You will define and drive end-to-end P2P strategy, spanning supplier onboarding, invoice processing, expense management, and payment execution within a global shared services environment. The role plays a key part in modernizing finance operations through system enablement, process standardization, and automation, with a strong focus on Coupa implementation and optimization. You will lead critical finance and GBS teams while ensuring strong governance, compliance, and operational excellence across all P2P activities. Acting as a transformation leader, you will partner closely with Finance, Procurement, and Operations to align priorities and deliver measurable business value. This is a highly visible role with enterprise-wide influence, strong exposure to senior leadership, and direct impact on efficiency, cost optimization, and scalability.
- Own the end-to-end global Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process, including supplier onboarding, purchase order execution, invoice processing, expense management, and payment settlement.
- Define and govern global P2P policies, standards, and KPIs to drive efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement across business units.
- Lead and oversee Accounts Payable, Supplier Master Data, Expense Reporting, and Expense Audit teams within the GBS organization.
- Ensure strong internal controls, audit readiness, and compliance with financial and operational policies across all P2P activities.
- Drive Coupa implementation and optimization, ensuring adoption of source-to-pay best practices, automation, and spend visibility.
- Lead enterprise-wide GBS transformation initiatives focused on process standardization, automation, and operating model maturity.
- Develop and execute change management strategies, stakeholder engagement plans, and training programs to support transformation adoption.
- Partner with senior leaders across Finance, Procurement, and Operations to align priorities and deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Build business cases for improvement initiatives and track value realization through structured governance and reporting frameworks.
- 8+ years of experience in Finance, Procurement, Shared Services, or Global Business Services environments.
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams or leading enterprise transformation initiatives.
- Strong expertise in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) or Source-to-Pay processes, including Accounts Payable and supplier management.
- Proven experience leading process improvement, system implementation, or large-scale transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of shared services or GBS operating models is highly preferred.
- Experience working in matrixed, fast-paced, or high-growth environments.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills across senior leadership levels.
- Ability to drive change, standardization, and operational excellence across global teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement certifications and Coupa experience are a plus.
- Competitive salary range: $160,000 – $180,000 USD annually, based on experience and location.
