Position Requirements
We are seeking a Chief Anesthesiologist with a strong clinical background in Anesthesiology, and proven leadership experience for Harbour View Medical Center opening in May 2025. This is a chance to join the group day one and help build a strong, collegial team of Anesthesiologist.

Bon Secours Harbour View Medical Center is a brand-new state-of-the-art facility opening in May 2025 and will adjoin the existing Bon Secours Health Center at Harbour View.
Anesthesiologist joining the team will have a great work/life balance and be providing anesthesia services within a known and respected hospital system.

Ortho, General, Urology, Plastics, ENT, Vascular, and GYN.

Shifts
Two weeks on one week off: Schedule provides 17 weeks off per year.

Requirements
Responsibilities
Direct and coordinate activities in the Anesthesia Department
Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
Pre-anesthesia assessment
Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Requirements
M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
ECFMC and FLEX
Completion of approved Residency in Anesthesia
Currently licensed as a Physician
