Brief Job Overview/Summary
This job is to provide technical support for instrument maintenance and repair
Descriptions of Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintain, calibrate, and service all research and teaching scientific instruments
- Perform simple diagnostic and repair procedures of electronic or mechanical problems Schedule and coordinate all necessary manufactures’ technical and repair service
- Order replacement parts, tools and special equipment, as needed
- Assist with gas cylinder inventory
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree, preferably in Chemistry
