We are looking for a Supply Chain Specialist o join our growing team in Milton, Ontario.

The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for supporting day-to-day supply chain, logistics, inventory, purchasing, and warehouse operations. This role works closely with internal departments, vendors, and logistics partners to ensure timely procurement, accurate inventory management, efficient order fulfillment, and continuous process improvement.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for purchase order placement, order status, and vendor coordination
  • Issue and manage purchase orders to support project and service departments, including obtaining and presenting quotes based on departmental requests.
  • Communicate with vendors to follow up on open POs and ensure timely delivery across all departments.
  • Respond to and resolve supply chain disruptions, shipping delays, and vendor issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, SKU setup, inventory allocation, and system data within NetSuite ERP.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of purchasing, inventory, and logistics activities within ERP systems.
  • Receive and process invoices related to ongoing projects.
  • Prepare and distribute operational reports, meeting updates, action items, and supporting materials.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support business needs and operational priorities.
  • Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and operational risks, and assist in implementing improved workflows and continuous improvement initiatives focused on freight optimization, inventory control, and scalability.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including scheduling pickups, deliveries, and order fulfillment.
  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies through cycle counts, reconciliations, and audits, including support of the annual inventory process.
  • Support the Supply Chain & Logistics Manager in executing supply chain and logistics requirements.
  • Assist with warehouse organization, cleanliness, safety standards, and assist with shipping and receiving as required.
  • Review monthly QAQC record checks and participate in monthly meeting with QEHS Director
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in supply chain, warehouse operations, inventory, production, or other related fields
  • Solid understanding of the supply chain, including shipping and receiving logistics, quality assurance, equipment upkeep, and facility maintenance.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite ERP, particularly in supply chain, inventory, purchasing, and logistics modules (experience with EPICOR, SAP, or similar systems is an asset).
  • High level of organizational skills with careful and consistent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong skills in prioritizing work schedule according to set deadlines.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities, critical thinking, self-motivated, with a willingness to learn.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and clear verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Capability of sustained physical effort while working with average and heavy weight materials (20-40 lbs.).
  • Forklift experience is an asset.

The pay range for this role is:
65,000 - 80,000 CAD per year(Milton, Ontario)
