This role offers a unique opportunity to support life-changing neuromodulation therapies that help patients living with drug-resistant epilepsy. Working directly in hospital operating rooms, you will collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and clinical teams during the implantation of advanced medical devices designed to improve patient outcomes. The position combines clinical support, technical expertise, and healthcare collaboration in a highly rewarding environment. Whether you bring prior operating room experience or are looking to transition into the medical device field, comprehensive training is provided to help you succeed. You will become a trusted resource for operating room staff, assisting with device-related support and troubleshooting during procedures. Accountabilities:
  • Provide intraoperative support during the implantation of vagus nerve stimulation (VNS) therapy systems in hospital operating rooms.
  • Serve as a technical resource for surgeons, nurses, and clinical staff regarding device-related procedures and best practices.
  • Assist with device diagnostics, troubleshooting, and programming support during surgical cases.
  • Coordinate with healthcare facilities to ensure compliance with credentialing and access requirements prior to case coverage.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with operating room personnel and clinical stakeholders within assigned hospitals.
  • Support procedural workflows and help ensure efficient case execution through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Complete all required training programs and maintain expertise in therapy systems, surgical protocols, and product updates.
  • Remain available for short-notice case support within the assigned territory while adhering to scheduling requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a clinical, technical, healthcare, or operating room environment.
  • Strong interest in medical devices, neuromodulation therapies, and patient-focused healthcare solutions.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in high-pressure operating room settings.
  • Ability to project professionalism and build credibility with healthcare professionals and hospital staff.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and general computer literacy.
  • Ability to learn technical medical device concepts and apply them confidently during clinical procedures.
  • Willingness to meet hospital credentialing requirements and maintain all required healthcare-related immunizations.
  • Flexibility to support cases on short notice and travel locally within the assigned territory as needed.
