You will lead the systems team responsible for enabling critical finance operations, ensuring scalable, compliant, and efficient financial processes across the enterprise. The role plays a key part in supporting M&A integration, platform modernization, and long-term technology roadmaps across interconnected systems such as Workday, Salesforce, and data platforms. This position requires a blend of deep Workday expertise, financial systems leadership, and strong accounting acumen. The environment is fast-paced, transformation-driven, and highly collaborative, with significant visibility across executive leadership.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the strategy, governance, and ongoing evolution of Workday Financials and PSA platforms, ensuring system stability, scalability, and alignment with enterprise objectives.
  • Manage, develop, and grow a specialized financial systems team, fostering strong internal capabilities while effectively leveraging external partners and vendors.
  • Oversee delivery quality across enhancements, releases, integrations, and system optimization initiatives within Workday environments.
  • Partner with Finance, Enterprise Architecture, and IT leadership to define system roadmaps, SDLC standards, and enterprise integration frameworks.
  • Support and enhance core finance operations including record-to-report, close, budgeting, intercompany accounting, and financial reporting processes.
  • Lead M&A integration efforts for financial systems, including data onboarding, system alignment, and development of repeatable integration frameworks.
  • Own Workday security, controls, and compliance frameworks, ensuring SOX adherence and alignment with audit and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive automation and intelligent finance initiatives, improving efficiency across accounting, reconciliation, billing, and cash management processes.
  • Collaborate with commercial systems teams to optimize end-to-end contract-to-cash and PSA workflows.
  • Serve as a key advisor to senior finance leadership, translating business needs into scalable technology solutions.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience leading enterprise financial systems, with strong expertise in Workday Financials and/or PSA.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing ERP or financial systems teams in complex environments.
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting processes, including record-to-report, close, intercompany, and financial reporting.
  • Experience working in publicly traded organizations with SOX compliance and audit requirements.
  • Proven track record of leading Workday implementations, transformations, or large-scale optimization programs.
  • Experience supporting acquisitive organizations with M&A system integration responsibilities.
  • Strong financial systems and data governance expertise, with understanding of master data management principles.
  • Ability to partner effectively with executive-level Finance stakeholders as a strategic advisor.
  • Strong knowledge of Workday architecture, configuration, reporting, and integration capabilities.
  • Experience with adjacent enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Snowflake, or Coupa is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Workday certifications (Financial Management domains) are strongly preferred.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation range: $170,000 – $210,000 USD depending on experience and location.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision coverage (eligibility-based).
  • Opportunity to lead enterprise-scale Workday transformation and modernization initiatives.
  • High visibility role partnering directly with executive Finance and IT leadership.
  • Strong focus on innovation, automation, and digital transformation within Finance.
  • Career growth within a fast-scaling, acquisition-driven environment.
  • Collaborative and mission-oriented workplace culture focused on long-term impact.
