This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Workday Integration Student Senior Principal Consultant based in the United States.
This role is a senior technical leadership position focused on delivering complex Workday Student implementation programs, with a strong emphasis on integration architecture and execution. You will act as a key bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating requirements into scalable, reliable integration solutions across multiple systems and SaaS environments. The position requires deep expertise in Workday integrations and a strong ability to navigate ambiguity in large enterprise transformation programs. You will lead integration workstreams, guide technical design decisions, and ensure successful delivery of end-to-end solutions. Working in a highly collaborative environment, you will also mentor teams, support client enablement, and drive best practices across integration development and deployment. This is a high-impact role where technical excellence directly supports successful student system transformations.
In this role, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of Workday Student integrations while ensuring alignment between business requirements and technical solutions.
- Lead Phase 1 Workday Student implementation projects with large integration teams
- Partner with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, evaluate design options, and secure formal sign-off
- Assess and communicate technical impacts of configuration and design decisions across systems
- Design detailed integration specifications, including field mappings and end-to-end process flows
- Develop, test, and deploy Workday integrations aligned with business and technical requirements
- Lead knowledge transfer sessions and educate clients on integration design and operational best practices
- Track issues, risks, and dependencies while providing clear status updates to project leadership
- Serve as technical lead across multiple integration workstreams in complex SaaS environments
This role requires deep Workday integration expertise combined with strong technical leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills in enterprise environments.
- 4+ years of Workday-certified integration consulting experience
- Proven experience as technical lead on at least one full Workday Student implementation
- Current Workday Studio certification (held for at least 2 years)
- Current Workday Orchestration certification
- Strong experience designing innovative solutions for complex Workday integration challenges
- Solid understanding of web service technologies including REST, JSON, SOAP, HTTP, SSL, PGP, and SAML
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Advanced Excel skills for analysis and reporting support
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Willingness to travel on-site when required
- Competitive annual salary range: $128,093 – $192,140
