This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Manager, Treasury & Capital Markets in North America.
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Treasury professional to lead capital markets initiatives and optimize financial operations in a fast-paced, innovative environment. In this role, you will partner with internal leaders across product, operations, finance, legal, and compliance, as well as external banking, fintech, and capital markets counterparties. You will manage the treasury investment portfolio, execute hedging strategies, and build strategic partnerships that enable scalable growth. The role requires strong analytical skills, negotiation expertise, and the ability to translate complex financial concepts into actionable insights. Accountabilities:
  • Lead strategic negotiations with banks, fintechs, and capital markets counterparties to support treasury initiatives and product launches.
  • Build and scale strategic partnerships to unlock new product capabilities and accelerate growth.
  • Manage the treasury investment portfolio, propose investment plans, execute strategies, and monitor portfolio performance.
  • Identify and manage corporate exposure to foreign currency, interest rates, and equities, including trade execution and hedging strategies.
  • Maintain and enhance investment policies and market risk management frameworks.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Regulatory, and Legal teams to ensure seamless product launches.
  • Drive best-in-class capital markets capabilities to support innovative financial products and client solutions.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in Treasury and Capital Markets, including direct negotiation and engagement with external counterparties.
  • Demonstrated success launching new products or capabilities from scratch in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong knowledge of capital markets products, investment portfolio management, foreign currency, interest rate, and equity market risk management.
  • Experience with Canadian and US liquidity regulations (LAR, LCR), bank FTP, and negotiating ISDAs is a strong asset.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills; able to translate complex financial concepts for non-Treasury audiences.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort operating in ambiguity and delivering solutions independently.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and bias for action.
  • Passion for fintech and innovative technology-driven financial solutions.
