Job Overview

Sota Landscaping is hiring an experienced Hardscape Foreman to lead high-quality residential and commercial hardscape projects across the Twin Cities. This is a hands-on leadership role for a skilled professional who takes pride in craftsmanship, enjoys leading a crew, and knows how to run an efficient, organized job site.

Youll be responsible for overseeing daily field operations, building patios and retaining walls, coordinating your crew, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to Sotas high standards. If you enjoy working outdoors, operating equipment, and mentoring others while creating beautiful outdoor environments, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead installation of patios, retaining walls, boulder walls, steps, and other hardscape features

  • Read and interpret job packets, plans, and layouts accurately

  • Supervise and motivate crews of 23 team members

  • Plan and coordinate daily site activities and workflow

  • Operate equipment such as skid steers, mini-excavators, and compactors

  • Drive company trucks and pull trailers as needed

  • Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and efficiency on every job

  • Communicate daily progress, needs, and challenges with leadership

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site

    Qualifications
    • 35 years of hands-on hardscape experience (patios, walls, steps, etc.)

    • Prior experience leading or supervising a crew

    • Strong time management and organizational skills

    • Ability to work independently and problem-solve on-site

    • Valid drivers license required

    • Comfortable operating equipment and towing trailers

    • Calm, positive, and solutions-focused attitude

    • High school diploma or GED preferred
