Job Summary

• Support all aspects of the monthly and annual financial close for the health system including (Foundation, Hospital and Affiliates)
• Support the daily operations of the company’s accounting, A/P and payroll departments
• Coordinate general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, revenue recognition, inventory, tax, treasury and internal controls
• Be a key contributor towards the preparation and review of all financial statements in compliance with US GAAP, FASB and IFSR
• Serve as a key contributor to external auditors and facilitate annual audit activities.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and oversee annual 990 filings
• Support and implement the development of accounting policies, procedures and internal controls
• Act as a key contributor in the design and maintenance of the company’s financial and reporting systems
• In coordination with Finance, monitors financial results and manages expenses within approved budgets.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement time-saving solutions

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors and/or Master’s in Accounting/Finance
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory experience
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
