Overview
Lutron has an immediate opening for a Senior HR Business Partner in our Costa Rica site. In this role, you will be a key member of the Human Resources team, supporting a wide range of HR initiatives including recruiting, employee development, crossfunctional project support, and payroll administration. You will partner closely with senior leaders to support organizational goals, strengthen teams, and help deliver a positive employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute workforce coverage and staffing plans to support current and future business needs
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for direct labor and experienced hires, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
- Deliver new hire orientation, ensuring employees understand company policies, benefits, and workplace expectations
- Partner across the organization to promote a positive, consistent, and professional employee experience
- Collaborate with Human Resources Business Partners to support onboarding, employee development, and talent initiatives
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data, ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations
- Provide day-to-day performance management support to managers, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions
- Identify training needs and partner with the learning organization to deliver effective development programs
- Partner with site leadership to ensure consistent execution of compensation and performance management processes
- Manage employee relations cases, ensuring timely resolution and alignment with company policies and values
- Support annual performance and compensation review processes
- Coordinate and schedule training activities to support organizational development
- Manage HR-related administrative activities, including employee badge issuance and parking allocation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related filed required (Human Resources, Business Administration, or similar)
- Minimum of 7 years' experience working in HR
- HR certification preferred
- Effective at collaboratively driving projects with cross-functional teams
- Experience working effectively in a matrix organization
- Manufacturing experience is a plus
- Good understanding of the Costa Rica labor law
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, both verbal and written.
