Overview
Weigh and apply Mirepoix and other ingredients to the Rice Blend.
Responsibilities
Ensure that all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are followed.
Apply ingredients to recipe specification’s.
Verify that all materials and equipment are available for production use.
Ensure that all ingredients are used in FIFO (First In, First Out) order only
Advise the Production Supervisor of any material shortages.
Ensure that all materials are kept up in a neat, orderly fashion. Partial quantities of materials should be weighed, labeled, and stored properly at the end of each shift.
Have knowledge of the batch weighing and usage process
Ensure that materials are consistent with Ajinomoto Windsor Inc.’s standards, (size, shape, color etc.)
Keeps accurate reports of the quantities of ingredients used in each batch and use as directed.
Ensure all materials are properly labeled and the lot numbers are recorded on the paperwork
Ensure that all reports are turned in at end of shift and that all the paperwork is filled out correctly
Ensure that the immediate surrounding areas are kept clean during and at the end of the shift.
Notify production lead and/or supervisor of any problems with equipment.
Keep area free of condensation
Other responsibilities as assigned my lead and supervisor
Follow all safety procedures

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group functions.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using weight measurement, volume and distance.
