Essential Functions:
- Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Provide hands-on therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques to patients as directed.
- Monitor and document patient progress, including range of motion, strength, and functional abilities.
- Instruct and educate patients and their families on proper exercise techniques and home care programs.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area and equipment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Adhere to legal and ethical standards of practice, always maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
- Stay updated on current trends and advancements in physical therapy practices through continuing education and professional development activities.
- Puts Customer Service First: Ensures that customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals needs and rights.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the National Board for Certification in Physical Therapy.
- Eligible to practice as an Physical Therapist Assistant, per state guidelines.
