Assistant Manager RN - Critical Care 3rd floor Belmont at CaroMont Health – Belmont, North Carolina

Job Summary:

Provides leadership, manages, and coordinates activities of a critical care nursing department. Participates in the coordination of patient care and departmental activities consistent with the corporate, division, and departmental mission statement and values.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license to practice in NC (NC licensure or multi-state (compact) license).
• BSN preferred.
• Two years of progressive nursing, critical care experience in an acute hospital with outstanding leadership skills documented.
• Thorough knowledge of specialty nursing principles, methods, and technique.
• Able to deal tactfully with staff, patients, physicians, ancillary professionals, and families.
• Considerable ability to manage, coach, and provide a motivated environment.
• Current BCLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the specialty area.
