Group Product Manager, AI (Products)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Group Product Manager, AI (Products) based in the United States.

This is a senior product leadership role responsible for defining and scaling an AI-powered product portfolio embedded across consumer and merchant experiences in a fast-moving fintech environment. You will own the strategy, roadmap, and execution of intelligent systems that leverage LLMs, agentic architectures, and modern AI frameworks to drive better decisioning, personalization, and business outcomes. The role operates at the intersection of product innovation and system-level architecture, requiring deep technical fluency alongside strong product judgment. You will collaborate closely with engineering, risk, design, legal, and marketing teams to deliver AI systems that are both scalable and compliant in a highly regulated space. A key part of the role involves shaping agent-based architectures, balancing performance, latency, and cost while ensuring production readiness. This is a high-impact opportunity to lead multiple AI product streams and influence how next-generation financial experiences are built.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the end-to-end strategy, vision, and roadmap for AI-driven products across consumer and merchant experiences, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer value creation.
  • Lead the design and evolution of agentic AI systems, including planning, tool use, orchestration, and decisioning frameworks.
  • Identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities where AI can improve personalization, automation, and financial decision outcomes.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, risk, compliance, legal, and marketing to ensure responsible and scalable product delivery.
  • Define and track product success metrics, ensuring measurable outcomes such as adoption, ROI, engagement, and performance improvements.
  • Make clear trade-off decisions across model quality, latency, scalability, and cost to ensure optimal product performance in production environments.
  • Establish AI product best practices across the broader product organization, influencing standards and development approaches.
  • Present product strategy, roadmap priorities, and performance insights to executive stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • 10–12+ years of product management experience, including 3–5+ years in leadership roles managing complex product portfolios or platforms.
  • Proven experience building and scaling AI, machine learning, or infrastructure-level products in production environments.
  • Strong technical understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, and agent-based system architectures.
  • Experience working on high-scale, high-stakes systems such as payments, risk platforms, or enterprise-grade AI products.
  • Ability to engage deeply with engineers and researchers on system design, architecture trade-offs, and technical constraints.
  • Strong track record of translating complex technical systems into clear customer and business value.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive-level presentation skills.
  • Experience operating in fintech or other regulated environments is highly desirable.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary range with performance-based bonus and total compensation package.
  • Equity awards as part of long-term incentive compensation.
  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Flexible working culture with remote-first options and in-person collaboration opportunities.
  • Generous paid time off, including unlimited PTO and company holidays.
  • Paid parental leave and family support programs.
  • Retirement savings plan with company 401(k) matching.
  • Learning and development stipend, including access to leading professional education platforms.
  • Wellness, mental health, and employee support resources.
  • Additional benefits such as fertility support, insurance options, and financial wellness tools.
