Job Description

Responsibilities

The Communications Project Manager will have the ability to work closely with internal customers to write, develop and execute communications and media plans designed to engage employees, motivate their behavior, inform the community through earned media, and manage the media. This position will work independently to develop plans and media promotion as well as guide their own work and make decisions based on input from partners and Norton Healthcare leadership. The Communications Project Manager will manage multiple projects and work with outside vendors as necessary to carry out brand standards, build effective work teams, and meet deadlines and metrics. This position will set high standards for their work and be accountable for successfully completing projects by deadline, utilizing decision-making skills, planning, collaborating with partners, thinking strategically, and allocating time effectively. The Communications Project Manager will be responsible for reflecting Norton Healthcare's brand and its mission, vision, and values in work product and interactions. This role will involve producing or managing products such as news releases, online stories, videos, talking points and speeches; collateral materials such as fliers, postcards, ads, annual reports, signage and invitations; social media posts and plans; and print and electronic employee communications. The Communications Project Manager must have excellent written communications skills for multiple business formats and be familiar with the AP Stylebook, a solid comprehension of the print and digital collateral production process, the ability to network and build work teams made up of marketing and communications colleagues, internal system partners and medical experts with the end goal of creating communications solutions that help achieve business objectives, and the ability to work on multiple projects at a time.

**This role offers a hybrid work option. Initial training will take place at a Norton Healthcare facility, and you must be available to come onsite for business needs as required. Employees in this position must reside in Kentucky or Indiana.**

Qualifications

Required:
  • Three years developing and implementing communication plans; strong writing abilities.
  • Bachelor Degree
