Location: Koenig & Bauer Office, Dallas (Irving), TX
Reports to: Parts Manager
Standard Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. CST with one-hour Lunch
FLSA Status: Non-exempt/Hourly
Compensation: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour
Job Responsibility: The Tool Coordinator will maintain the specialty parts and tooling area for accuracy of inventory and technician support. Coordination of tool orders to include research, order processing, tracking, shipment, retrieval, and proper closure of tool orders in SAP. Provide additional support to warehouse with RMA processing and shipments as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Basic understanding of how to organize, inventory, and make judgement on physical condition of tools and Gang boxes.
- Work under strict adherence to OSHA requirements and where applicable, follow manufacturer’s safety guidelines.
- Maintain safe and orderly work station
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
- Frequent standing, lifting, pushing and pulling of heavy machinery
- Frequent reaching and bending
- Ability to move fingers and hands easily
- Ability to read and understand various safety regulations, drawings, sketches and diagrams
- Have a basic understanding of how to read, understand and work from drawings, sketches, and diagrams.
- Maintain organization and delivery of all tools and gang boxes to technicians
- Manage parts and tools inventory in the warehouse including cycle counts and year-end physical inventory.
- Manage and maintain proper procedures for receiving parts and tools into inventory.
- Keeps a clean, safe, and organized warehouse ensuring parts and tools are properly labeled and stored for easy access.
- Oversees the picking, packing, and shipment of parts and tools. Ensuring accuracy of order, timely delivery, and customer receives package in good condition.
- Track, record, and respond to shipping errors.
- Allocates shipment related expense to corresponding accounts.
- Handle warranty parts from customers and organize returns to factory
- Perform other tasks requested by management
Required Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED-equivalent required.Post-high school technical degree or certification preferred
Experience: Minimum three (3) years of on-the-job experience.
Computer Skills: Intermediate skills with Word, Excel, Outlook, Explorer, and navigation of various on-line databases.
Physical Demands: Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
